What is LiveWork?
LiveWork is an online workplace where businesses connect with qualified workforces to get business process work done. Our unique Team Work Model and Results-based Routing ™ workflow engine enables distributed teams of experts to perform business process work with the same level of predictability and quality as traditional workforces.
Businesses use LiveWork to qualify, hire, and pay virtual LiveWorks of experts from around the world to get business task work done whenever they need it.
Experts and BPOs use LiveWork to create Virtual Service Businesses, meet and collaborate with clients, and get paid for performing repetitive business tasks.
Is there a fee to join LiveWork?
There is no fee to join LiveWork.
What is the minimum age requirement for joining LiveWork?
The minimum age requirement to join LiveWork is 16 years of age.
What are the technical requirements for using LiveWork?
LiveWork is a hosted website and should be compatible with a variety of operating systems and web browsers. The following operating systems and browsers have been tested and are recommended:
Recommended Operating Systems: Windows: XP/Vista, MAC: OS X (9,10)
Recommended Browsers: Internet Explorer: 7, Firefox: 3.x, Safari: 3.x
Please note: IE8 is currently not a supported browser on LiveWork. In addition, LiveWork messenger/chat is powered by an Adobe Flash application and may require a related browser plug-in.
How do I learn more about outsourcing projects to LiveWork's on-demand workforce?
Please note: LiveWork currently has a minimum threshold of 1,000 hours of work per month for new clients.

How do I get started as a Provider?
Providers hire and qualify teams of experts, and are hired for their domain expertise and leadership ability. The first and best step toward getting hired is to stand out with a complete and professional LiveWork profile that illustrates these capabilities.
1. Begin by adding information to the Overview, Skills, Resume and Portfolio sections of your LiveWork profile.
2. Adjust your Availability Settings to let LiveWork members know you available for work. When your LiveWork profile is complete and ready for review by potential business partners.
3. Enter your Account Information including your Contact, Communication Preferences and Payment information.
4. Find Work! Navigate to the Projects section where you can review opportunities and apply for projects.
How do I get started/create a BPO/Company profile?
BPO's/Companies bring their qualified teams of experts to LiveWork, and are hired for their teams' domain expertise and leadership ability. BPO's/Companies can create a company presence on Livework via the Company profile. The first and best step toward getting your company or team hired is to stand out with a complete and professional LiveWork Company profile that illustrates these capabilities and your team.
1. In the Account screen (Account link on top) within the "Personal Info" tab, edit the "Business Info" section. Select your Business Status as "Incorporated" and enter your full company name (e,g: BPO Inc.). Save the changes.
2. Click the "Edit/Create Profile" button next to the Company Name to setup and create your company profile.
3. Begin by adding information to the Overview, Services, and Portfolio sections of your LiveWork Company profile.
4. Ensure your affiliated/company employees affiliate themselves with your established company. They do this from the Account screen (Account link on top) within the "Personal Info" tab, edit the "Business Info" section. Selecting their Business Status as "Affiliated" and entering the exact full company name entered in step 1 (e,g: BPO Inc.). If typing a partial match the auto-complete should provide them a list of available companies.
5. You should receive a system alert when Experts request their affiliation. To Approve or Reject affiliation from the My Office - "My Affiliates" panel, click on "Pending" and either approve or reject the Experts.
NOTE: In order to remove affiliation for Experts you will need to manually remove them via this screen.
6. Update your Company Account Information including your Company Contact, Communication Preferences and Payment information.
7. In the Account screen, "Preferences" tab determine if you would like to enable company invoicing. Company invoicing will allow you to receive payment for all work performed and invoiced by your affiliated experts.
8. Find Work! Navigate to the Projects section where you can review opportunities and apply for projects.
NOTE: Once you have affiliated members you can no longer modify your Account Status or Company name unless you un-affiliate the members via My Office. In addition you can now decide to "hide" member profiles from your Affiliate panel in My Office by clicking the "hide" button.
How do I get started as an Expert?
The first and best step toward getting hired is to stand out with a complete and professional LiveWork profile.
1. Begin by adding information to the Overview, Skills, Resume and Portfolio sections of your LiveWork profile.
2. Adjust your Availability Settings to let LiveWork members know you available for work.
3. Enter your Account Information including your Contact, Communication Preferences and Payment information.
4. Find Work! When your LiveWork profile is complete and ready for review by potential business partners, navigate to the Projects section where you can review opportunities and apply for projects.
How are Experts & Companies ranked in search?
The LiveWork search results for Workforces uses a unique algorithm to rank Companies, Providers & Experts in the system. In order to ensure appropriate ranking and being surfaced in the result, one should keep team size, work quality and profile/account completion in mind. LiveWork will continually iterate and update the algorithm by which we display the experts, providers and companies in our system to provide our clients the best results.

Does LiveWork provide phone based work services?

What is the LiveWork timezone/system time?
The LiveWork product operates in the EDT timzeone (US- Eastern Daylight Time). Therefore, keep in mind that task creation, scheduler, forums or other features operate in the EDT timezone.
