To change your password:
1. Sign-In to LiveWork
2. Select the "My Account" link at the top of the page
3. Scroll down to the "Security" section and click Edit
4. Enter your current password
5. Enter a new password
6. Reenter the new password to confirm
7. Click the "Save Changes" link to save updated information
How do I change my name or contact information?
To change your name or contact information:
1. Sign-In to LiveWork
2. Select the "My Account" link at the top of the page
3. Select the "Personal Info" tab
4. Scroll to "Contact Info" and click the "Edit" button
5. Update your contact information as needed
6. Click the "Save Changes" link to save updated information
How do I enter or change my Business Status?
Business status on LiveWork determines several key items (such as payment) within the system. The default business status in LiveWork is Independent Contract for all users in the system. As a BPO or Company owner you will need to select "Incorporated" to manage a company profile & your affiliated Experts (see details). As an Affiliated Employee you will need to select and identify your affiliated company.
To enter or change your Business Status to an Independent Contractor, Affiliated Expert, or Incorporated Business do the following:
1. Sign-In to LiveWork
2. Select the "My Account" link at the top of the page
3. Select the "Personal Info" tab
4. Scroll to "Business Status" and click the "Edit" button
5. Update your information as needed
6. Click the "Save Changes" link to save updated information
Note: If you select Affiliated you will need to enter your Providers company name (as entered). This will identify you as being affiliated with this Provider and sends them a request. Once you are affiliated you cannot modify or remove affiliation, the company manager will need to do so. The company manager can also decide to "hide" member profiles as well as influence your invoicing (see company invoicing for more details).
How do I change my Business contact information?
1. Sign-In to LiveWork
2. Select the "My Account" link at the top of the page
3. Select the "Personal Info" tab
4. Scroll to "Business Info" and click the "Edit" button
5. Update your contact information as needed
6. Click the "Save Changes" link to save updated information
How do I enter or change my payment information settings?
To enter or change payment information settings:
1. Sign-In to LiveWork
2. Select the "Account" link at the top right of the page
3. Select the "Personal Info" tab
4. Edit the PayPal section by entering the email address associated with your PayPal account
5. Click "Save Changes" to save updated information
Note: Payment information must be entered prior to applying to projects on LiveWork or accepting applicants to a project.
Payment for services on the LiveWork platform is remitted via PayPal only.
How do I change the communication preferences settings for my account?
To change communication preferences settings for email, chat, and availability to work:
1. Sign-In to LiveWork
2. Select the "My Account" link at the top of the page
3. Select the "Preference" tab
4. Update communication preferences as needed
5. Settings are automatically saved when a box is checked or un-checked
What is the "Public View" of my profile page?
The public view displays your LiveWork profile without edit options displayed in "Private View." The "Public View" is viewable by all members of LiveWork.
What is the "Private View" of my profile page?
The private view of your LiveWork profile allows you to edit sections of your profile. The "Private View" is not displayed to clients when you apply to a project or to other LiveWork members.
How do I edit my LiveWork profile information?
To edit your LiveWork profile information:
1. Sign-In to LiveWork
2. Select the "My Profile" tab at the top of the page
3. Select the Overview, Skills, Resume, or Portfolio tab
4. Select Edit to update information as needed
5. Click "Save Changes" to save updated information
How do I change my email address?
To edit your LiveWork email address:
1. Sign-In to LiveWork
2. Select the "My Profile" tab at the top of the page
3. Select Edit in "Contact information" (below At a Glance) to update your email as needed
4. Click "Save Changes" to save updated information

1. Click the "Account" link at the top of the page
2. Select Edit in "Personal Info" to update your email as needed
3. Click "Save Changes" to save updated information
I'm not receiving emails, what can I do?
Sometimes ISP's or email providers block unknown email adresses, some things to check:
1. Check your SPAM or BULK mail folder to see if the LiveWork emails arrived there.
2. Add livework.com to your addressbook, or donotreply@livework.com.
3. Add livework.com or donotreply@livework.com to the SPAM exception list.
If the above still does not work, please contact support@livework.com for assistance.
What is an appropriate LiveWork profile photo?
LiveWork provides the option to add a photo to your profile. An appropriate LiveWork profile photo is a real photo of yourself that puts your best face forward for doing business on LiveWork. Please do not upload cartoons, drawings, or symbols as a profile photo.
*Your profile photo cannot include content not allowed under the LiveWork Terms of Services, including copyright protected images, adult or obscene content.
How to report an inappropriate image on LiveWork?
If you determine an image displaying on LiveWork is inappropriate you can report the issue to the LiveWork Team.
How do I upload / edit my profile photo?
To upload or edit your LiveWork profile photo:
1. Sign-In to LiveWork
2. Select the "My Profile" tab at the top of the page
3. Click the Edit button in the "At A Glance" section on your profile page
4. Click Browse to select a photo located on your computer to upload
5. Click the Upload link to upload and save your profile photo
Am I required to upload a profile photo?
Clients may prefer to hire Providers and Experts who have uploaded a profile photo. Adding a photo to your LiveWork profile is a way to distinguish your profile and add creditability to your business. An uploaded profile photo is not a requirement for participation on LiveWork.
How do I upload / edit my resume?
You have the option to either upload a resume that is saved on your computer or to create a resume using the text editor.
Please be sure to protect your privacy by removing your personal contact information from the resume that you upload to LiveWork. Clients and project owners will contact you via the LiveWork platform.
To upload, create, or edit your resume:
1. Sign-In to LiveWork
2. Select the "My Profile" tab at the top of the page
3. Select the "Resume" tab
4. Click the Edit link
To Upload a resume saved on your computer:
1. Click Browse to select a text file or word document located on your computer
2. Click Upload to upload and save your resume
3. Click the Edit button to use the text editor to make changes to your resume
LiveWork supports the upload of resumes saved as the following file formats:
* doc - Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP [.doc]
* rtf - Rich Text Format [.rtf]
* txt - Plain Text [.txt]
Important note for LiveWork members using Word 2007:
Currently the system does not accept files saved using the default Word 2007 format .docx
In Word 2007, please choose the option to save your resume as a Word 97-2003 Document which is .doc
To Use the Text Editor to create your resume
1. Click the Edit button to open the text editor
2. Add and format text in the editor and click the Save changes button to create your resume
3. Click the Edit button to use the text editor to make changes to your resume
What is appropriate information for the Overview My Summary section?
A well-written summary can help boost your chances for getting hired on LiveWork. Provide a brief summary of your work experience, skills, and work-relevant interests. A LiveWork Overview Summary should contain information that would be appropriately included in the overview paragraph of a professional resume.
What is the appropriate information to be entered in the Services section of the Overview page?
In the Services section list the services that you offer & associated rates.

To review the profiles of other LiveWork members, select the Workforces tab and click a Name to view the associated profile.
What is appropriate information for My Skills section?
Add your Self-Declared professional Skills to demonstrate your competency and range of specialization. For each professional Skill, be sure to enter your years of related experience and rating.
What is appropriate to upload to My Portfolio section?
The appropriate files or documents to upload to your My Portfolio section are examples that reflect your best work. Do not upload content that is not allowed under the LiveWork Terms of Services, including copyright protected documents or images, adult or obscene content.
How do I change my Availability for work settings?
The availability for work setting enables you to tell clients or project leaders that you are currently not able to perform work and they should not assign projects or work to you. To change your Availability for work settings:

2. Select the "My Profile" tab at the top of the page
3. Click the Edit button in the "At A Glance" section on your profile page
4. Update the Availability (Weekly) field with your weekly availability
5. Click the Save Changes button
How do I change my Rate for work settings?
To change your Rate for work settings:
1. Sign-In to LiveWork
2. Select the "My Profile" tab at the top of the page
3. Click the Edit button in the "At A Glance" section on your profile page
4. Update the Rate field with your hourly rate
5. Click the Save Changes button
I'm registered as an Expert, how do I change my account to be a Provider?
Registered LiveWork members have the option to apply for projects as a Provider or an Expert. To find work as a Provider, search for "Provider Only" listings in the Projects section on LiveWork. Highlighting related work experience in the Overview section of your LiveWork profile may increase your chances of being hired as a Provider on LiveWork.

Registered LiveWork members have the option to apply for projects as a Provider or an Expert. To find work as an Expert, search for "Experts Only" listings in the Find Work section on LiveWork. Highlighting related work experience in the Overview section of your LiveWork profile may increase your chances of being hired as an Expert on LiveWork.
How do I delete my LiveWork account?
To delete your LiveWork account, please email support@livework.com and include the following information:
1. Your LiveWork User Name
2. The email address associated with your account
3. Your reason for leaving LiveWork
